So I was reading this article on from the London Free Press and its reviewing the good the bad and the slimy points of the insect diet. I have seen Andrew Zimmerman eat some strange stuff but a diet on bugs alone doesnt sound to fulfilling to me.
David Gracer, an American advocate of insect eating, told the New York Times, "Insects can feed the world. Cows and pigs are the SUVs; bugs are the bicycles." - quote from the London Free Press.
Thats a tough quote to digest. We as a society enjoy our meats. But a antwich is never going to be a viable substitute to a turkey and cheese sandwich. I can see, however, insect speciality dishes increasing in popularity in the not so distant future. And for avid dieters like myself, insects are substantially all protein with little fat. Grilled chicken vs grilled larvae, I am still routing for the chicken.

Gross Gross. Bug diet is a nasty idea. Why not just eat more veggies and fruits. I do not want to start adding bugs to my diet routine. People are nuts, heck, eat more nuts instead of bugs.
